Free real estate website templates

Two sites for people who sell homes: Shoal for an agent who works one area, Lattice Estate for a firm that builds and sells its own houses. The agent, builder and homes in the demos are made up.

Short answer: Both are free under the MIT license. Download the HTML zip, replace fk_your_access_key with your Formgong access key and upload the files to any static host. Shoal also deploys from its GitHub repository with a Deploy to Cloudflare or Deploy with Vercel button. Enquiries reach your inbox, and the form shows thanks only after the server has stored them.

Shoal: a realtor who knows an area

Shoal: the first screen of the demo.

A multi-page site: about, buying, selling, four area guides with their own pages, notes, contact. The enquiry form opens from the header, a floating button and every call to action, so a buyer reading an area guide can write without looking for the contact page. The photos are from Unsplash and credited in the README. More on the Shoal page.

Lattice Estate: a home builder

Lattice Estate home page
Lattice Estate: the first screen of the demo.

One page that tells a build backwards: as you scroll, a finished villa turns into the shell, the concrete frame and finally the first drawing. The consultation form asks for a budget band, which helps a builder sort serious enquiries. More on the Lattice Estate page.

What buyers and sellers look for on an agent's site

  • Proof that you know the area. Shoal's area guides are there for this. Write them yourself: schools, transport, what a street is like at night. Search engines and buyers both reward pages nobody else has.
  • Separate paths for buyers and sellers. They want different things from you. Shoal has a page for each.
  • A quick way to ask. Not everyone wants to call. A short form with name, contact and a message is enough to start.
  • Your licence and agency details. Many places require them on an agent's site. Add them to the footer.

Neither template is a listings portal: there is no property search or MLS feed. For listings, link to your agency's search page or embed its widget.

The templates load no analytics or ad scripts. Fonts come from Google Fonts; if your privacy policy rules that out, download the font files and serve them from your own host.

Questions

Can I show my property listings?

Not automatically. You can add a listing as a page of its own, or link the buttons to your agency's or portal's search page.

Can I use them for an agency with several agents?

Yes. Copy the about page for each agent, or turn it into a team page. The MIT license allows any changes.

Where do the enquiries go?

To your Formgong inbox and your email, and on to Telegram, Slack or a CRM webhook if you connect one.
