Integrations

Formgong integrations

Formgong delivers each submission to email, Telegram and up to five webhooks. A webhook is how you reach other apps. These recipes show the exact steps for four popular tools.

Short answer: Formgong has no native app in Make, n8n, Zapier or KeyCRM. It sends a signed JSON webhook on every real submission. Each automation tool can catch that webhook and pass the data on. Free forms get one webhook; Pro and Business get five per form.

How Formgong talks to other apps

When a visitor sends your form, Formgong saves the submission and checks it for spam. Then it sends a POST request with JSON to each webhook URL you added. The request carries an X-Signature header, so the receiver can check it really came from Formgong.

  • What you need: a Formgong form and an HTTPS address from your automation tool.
  • Where to add it: My forms → your form → Form settings → Webhook → Add webhook.
  • What is not sent: spam and held submissions never reach a webhook.

Which tool to pick

  • Make if you want a visual builder with a free plan. Webhooks work on Free.
  • n8n if you want to self-host, or keep data in the EU on n8n Cloud.
  • Zapier if your team already pays for it. Webhooks need a paid plan.
  • KeyCRM if leads should land in your CRM pipeline. It goes through Make, n8n or a small script.

Plan limits and delivery rules

  • Webhooks per form: 1 on Free, 5 on Pro and Business. See pricing.
  • URL rules: HTTPS on port 443, a public host name, no user name or password in the URL.
  • Timeout: 10 seconds. A redirect (3xx) or any status outside 2xx counts as a failure.
  • Retries: 5 attempts in total, with waits of 30 seconds, 2 minutes, 10 minutes and 30 minutes.
  • Log: each attempt and its status code appear under Recent deliveries.

There is no REST API for reading submissions and no polling trigger. Personal API tokens work only with the MCP server for AI assistants.

Questions

Is there a Formgong app in Make, Zapier or n8n?

No. You use the generic webhook trigger each tool has. It takes about ten minutes and works the same way in all of them.

Can a webhook send data straight into my CRM?

Only if the CRM accepts Formgong's JSON as it is. Formgong cannot add custom headers or change the body. CRMs that need an API key, like KeyCRM, need Make, n8n or a small script in between.

Do test submissions or spam trigger my automations?

Spam never does. The Send test button does: it posts an event named webhook.test with one field, message. Filter on the event field if tests should not create records.

What happens if my automation tool is down?

Formgong tries 5 times over about 42 minutes. If every attempt fails, the submission stays in your Formgong inbox and the failure shows under Recent deliveries.
