The demo form is real: it posts to a Formgong demo form, so you can send yourself a test request. Demo messages are kept for seven days and are not emailed to anyone.

What is inside
- Pages: home, services (one page per service), about, contact with the quote form, thank-you and 404.
- A scroll story on the home page: a drip under the kitchen sink at 11:41 pm, one form sent from a phone, a van leaving Quarry Hill, a fixed price before the repair, a dry floor and a two-year guarantee. It is plain CSS (scroll-driven animations) with no animation library; visitors who turn motion off see six still pictures instead.
- A quote form that tells the truth: "Request received" appears only when the server answers
success: true. A wrong key or a lost connection shows an error. - Search basics: titles and descriptions per page, a sitemap, Open Graph tags and
Plumberstructured data built from your config.
Make it yours
In the Astro source, src/config.ts holds the business name, phone and emergency line, address, service areas, opening hours, social links, the accent color and the form key. Each service is a Markdown file in src/content/services, so an electrician or a cleaning company changes the list and the sample text, not the layout.
In the HTML download, the same details are already written into the pages: search for the sample phone number and town name and replace them.
Questions
Can I use Craftline for an electrician or a cleaning company?
Yes. Change the services and the words in the config file. Nothing in the layout is specific to plumbing except the sample text and the story captions.
Does the form work without JavaScript?
Yes. Without JavaScript it is a plain HTML form: it posts to Formgong and the visitor lands on your thank-you page. With JavaScript the visitor stays on the page and sees the result there.
Do I have to keep the Formgong credit in the footer?
No. The MIT license asks you to keep the license file, nothing more. The credit line is optional.
What does it cost to run?
Static hosting is free on Cloudflare Pages, Netlify and GitHub Pages. Formgong's free plan covers 300 submissions a month.
