Free HTML website templates with a working contact form

Every one is a finished site in plain HTML, CSS and a little JavaScript. There is nothing to install or build: unzip it, paste your form key and upload the folder.

Other platforms: WordPress · Shopify · Astro · Next.js · Nuxt · SvelteKit · Hugo · Eleventy · Ghost. Or see all website templates.

How to install an HTML template

  1. Download the zip and unzip it.
  2. Create a free form at formgong.com/new and copy its access key. It starts with fk_ and is safe to put in a web page.
  3. Open index.html in a text editor and replace every fk_your_access_key with your key. Craftline, Orrery, Shoal, Stilla and Somna have several pages, so for those use find and replace across the folder. In Craftline, Orrery and Shoal, also replace https://example.com with your site address.
  4. Upload the folder to a static host such as Cloudflare Pages, Netlify or GitHub Pages. Dragging the folder into the Netlify or Cloudflare dashboard is enough.
  5. Send a test message from your site and check that it reaches your Formgong inbox.

What to expect

  • There is no admin panel. You change the text in the HTML files with a text editor, or open the folder in an AI coding tool and ask it to.
  • Most templates are one index.html file with its images. Craftline, Orrery, Shoal, Stilla and Somna have more pages, so the header and footer repeat in each file.
  • The demo photos are placeholders for your own. Replace them before launch.

One kit for the whole site

The template is the first part. The Formgong account that receives its form and emails you each message can also run a help chat that answers visitors from your own pages, and collect star reviews that show on the site once you approve them. Each part goes in as a key or a short embed code, and you manage all of it from one dashboard.

Questions

Do I need to know how to code?

Not much. You replace one key in a text file and upload a folder. Changing the wording means editing HTML, which any text editor or AI coding tool can do.

Where can I host a static HTML site for free?

Cloudflare Pages, Netlify and GitHub Pages all host static sites for free, with your own domain and HTTPS. The form keeps working on any of them because it posts to Formgong, not to the host.

Can I use them for client work?

Yes. The HTML templates are MIT-licensed: use them for clients, change anything and drop the footer credit. Keep the license file.
