Templates
Free WordPress themes with a working contact form
Block themes for WordPress 6.5 or later (Contour and Craftline need 6.6), each made from one of our website templates. The contact form is a block from the free Formgong plugin, so the theme holds no form code and stores nothing.

How to install a WordPress theme
- Download the zip. Don't unzip it.
- In WordPress, open Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme → Upload Theme, choose the file, click Install Now, then Activate.
- Install the free Formgong plugin (Plugins → Add New, search for "Formgong"). Create a free form at formgong.com/new and copy its access key. It starts with
fk_and is safe to put in a web page. Paste it under Settings → Formgong. - For a hand-made theme, you can also import its demo pages and menu: download the
-pages.xmlfile linked on the theme's page and import it under Tools → Import → WordPress. Then pick Home under Settings → Reading → A static page. - Send a test message from your site and check that it reaches your Formgong inbox.
What to expect
- 12 themes were ported by hand. Craftline, Orrery and Shoal have inner pages (services, about, contact); the others are one home page with dialogs and forms.
- The other 13 come from our template generator: the home page is built from patterns you can move or remove, and posts, pages, archives, search and 404 use the same header, footer and fonts.
- The form needs the Formgong plugin. Without it the page shows no form (Contour's form stays hidden until a key is saved).
- They are not in the WordPress.org theme directory yet, so you upload the zip instead of searching for the theme in WordPress.
One kit for the whole site
The template is the first part. The Formgong account that receives its form and emails you each message can also run a help chat that answers visitors from your own pages, and collect star reviews that show on the site once you approve them. Each part goes in as a key or a short embed code, and you manage all of it from one dashboard.
Tell us what's missing
If your kind of business has no WordPress theme here yet, or a step here doesn't match what you see, email support@formgong.com. We read every message and fix the page, and the next templates we make are the ones people ask for there.
Questions
Do these themes work with the block editor?
Yes, they are block themes. You edit the home page, header and footer in Appearance → Editor, and every section is a pattern you can move, change or delete.
Do I need a page builder like Elementor?
No. The themes use the editor that ships with WordPress. A page builder would only add weight.
What license are they under?
MIT, except Contour, which is GPL v2 or later like most WordPress themes. Both let you use the theme on client sites and change it.
