Website template

AULA: a free website template for premium interior design studios

A dark, photo-led one-page site for an interior design studio, in a single index.html file. The demo studio, AULA, and its address and projects are fictional.

Short answer: AULA is free under the MIT license. Download aula.zip, replace both fk_your_access_key values in index.html with your Formgong access key, and upload the folder with its img directory to any static host.

The demo form is real: it posts to a Formgong demo form. Demo messages are kept for seven days and are not emailed to anyone.

What is inside

  • A sticky dark header with a slide-in menu (Projects opens a sub-list), an "about" panel, a centred wordmark, a "discuss a project" pill and the phone number.
  • Eight photo tiles under a dark veil. On hover the photo zooms, the veil lifts and a short line opens. "Services" and "furnishing" jump to the form and tick that service.
  • Five project rows that swap sides, each in its own colour for the tag, details, title and "view" link. "view" opens the photo large.
  • Two working forms: a project request with chips for type of space, area and services, and a call-back window behind a round phone button. Each shows thanks only when the server answers success: true.
  • Images: thirteen WebP photos (about 1.8 MB in all) generated for this template with ChatGPT image generation. Reduced motion turns the zooms and slides off.

Questions

How do I change a project's colour?

Each project row sets --pc in its style attribute, for example style="--pc:#b7ac85". The tag, details, title and view link all follow it.

Can a visitor pick several services?

Yes. Services are checkboxes, so each ticked one arrives as its own services value in the message; type of space and area allow one choice each.
