Move your reviews from Shopify Product Reviews to Formgong

Shopify has closed its Product Reviews app, so the only way in is a CSV you exported from it before. Formgong reads that file as it is.

Steps

Find the CSV you exported from Shopify Product Reviews. Formgong recognises it by its product_handle, state and author columns.
In Formgong, open Reviews, pick your site and open the Import / Export tab. No review site yet? Get started first.
Under Import reviews, choose the file, pick the Language of these reviews and press Import. Formgong recognises the file from its header row.
Read the result: how many reviews came in, and how many were skipped and why. Everything imported is pending, so nothing is public yet.
Check the reviews on the Reviews tab, then press Publish … imported reviews. Undo this import removes them instead.

Ratings, text, reviewer names, original dates, titles and your public replies come across. Photos and videos do not.
Reviewer emails are not stored, so imported reviews have no edit link.
Importing the same file again adds nothing, so you can import a newer export later.
Reviews the app had unpublished or marked as spam arrive hidden.
Each review keeps its product handle, which matches data-product="{{ product.handle }}" in the Shopify widget.
