Formgong on WooCommerce

Product and order questions post to Formgong through the same plugin. Checkout, payments, and order emails stay in WooCommerce.

  1. Install the Formgong plugin and paste the access key under Settings, then Formgong. Click Send a test submission. It uses plugin-test@example.com and does not finish the connect wizard.
  2. Turn on the product question, the order question, or both, and save. Each can use its own template, such as aula or clinic-appointment. Leave the choice empty to inherit the main template. Choose plain to force the built-in contact form. A shortcode or block template wins over both. On a product template, [formgong product="1"] adds the current product. [formgong template="aula"] sets the template for that one form.
  3. The product question sits on the product summary and sends the product name, SKU, and URL as hidden fields. The heading stays Question about this product unless you set a custom heading. The order question sits after the order table. Only a customer who can view that order sees it, and only the order number is sent.
  4. Both forms send the hidden field _page_url for the current page. Formgong keeps it when the host matches the referrer, ignoring a leading www. Checkout, payments, and WooCommerce order emails are unchanged.
  5. Styles follow the template skin and stay inside the form on Storefront, Astra, and Twenty. Conditional fields, such as the child name on clinic-appointment, show and hide with CSS.
  6. Send a test from a product page and from the customer order page, then open the inbox. Telegram is instant on every plan, including Free. On the Free plan, every submission is emailed to one address. If the question is missing, confirm WooCommerce is active and the checkbox is saved.
