How forms work in Squarespace
Squarespace form storage and email work until trial limits, deliverability or Telegram get in the way. Keep designing in Squarespace and send the POST elsewhere with a Code Block.
Plain HTML and CSS in Code Blocks work on all plans. JavaScript and iframes need Core or higher (Squarespace docs, 05.10.2026). For email failures, see the blog post. This page is the install guide.
Set it up in Squarespace
- Create a Formgong form and copy the access key.
- Add a Code Block, set type to HTML, paste a plain HTML form with action
https://formgong.com/submit, your key,_langandbotcheck. - Optional
_redirectto a thank-you page on your Squarespace site. Without JavaScript, visitors leave the page after submit. - Publish, send a test, connect Telegram in Formgong. On trial sites Squarespace may block its own form email — a Code Block to Formgong is unaffected.

Formgong or Squarespace storage?
Keep Squarespace forms when their storage, Mailchimp or Google Drive connections are enough.
Use Formgong when you need Telegram, EU storage or reliable delivery independent of Squarespace trial email rules.

Does this work on every Squarespace plan?
Plain HTML Code Blocks yes. Inline success scripts need a plan that allows JavaScript in Code Blocks (Core or higher).
